Florent Denecker, better known as FDVM, began his musical journey in 2013 by sharing his first edits and original tracks on SoundCloud. With a fresh, avant-garde approach to deep house, FDVM quickly gained recognition for his modern sound and distinct style. His growing reputation led to his first high-profile collaborations, including one with the popular duo Ofenbach.

As his career progressed, so did the buzz around FDVM, and soon after, he secured a booker who helped him land gigs at some of the biggest clubs in Paris. His DJ sets became renowned for their ability to create truly magical and immersive experiences, solidifying his status in the electronic music scene.

In 2017, FDVM’s career took a significant leap forward with the release of Make It Right. The track caught the attention of radio stations, including Virgin Radio, which featured him on its ElectroShock tour. This exposure marked the beginning of FDVM's rise to international prominence, with performances at prestigious festivals like Tomorrowland and Coachella.

As his profile continued to grow, FDVM attracted the interest of major labels, including Sony Music. However, in 2019, he signed with the forward-thinking labels Soave Records and Adue Music, marking a new phase in his career. With them, FDVM produced standout collaborations, such as those with Henri PFR and more recently with the acclaimed Broken Back, known for his signature gravelly voice.

With over 150 million streams, including 20 million in 2021 alone, FDVM has firmly established himself as one of the leading artists in the electronic music world. His blend of deep house with a modern twist continues to captivate listeners globally, ensuring his place as a prominent figure in the genre for years to come.
