Romain Garcia, a Paris-born artist of Spanish descent, is a rising star in the world of melodic techno. With a background in graphic arts, Romain has always been influenced by a rich mix of cultural and artistic references. His passion for techno started at the age of 15, and by his teens, he was already spinning records. During the pandemic, he sent a demo to Ben Böhmer, whose immediate support led to their collaboration on Cappadocia, released in 2020 on Cercle Records. The track was an instant success, amassing over 15 million streams and marking the beginning of his ascent.
Romain’s signature sound—full of exotic melodies, hypnotic rhythms, and manipulated vocal samples—quickly gained recognition. His next release, White Flag, came out on the German label Ton Topferei, followed by the Syamo EP, which led him to sign with Anjunadeep. His 2022 EP, Before You Go, was praised by the French electro press (Tsugi, Libération) and was featured on Sirius Chill in the US.
Having performed at iconic venues like Printworks, Fuse, and T7, Romain is now preparing for a highly anticipated US tour in support of his latest EP, Everybody Dreams, released in February 2023 on Anjunadeep.
