Renowned for his poetic lyricism and uncompromising artistry, Harper has been a pivotal influence on artists such as Led Zeppelin, who famously dedicated "Hats Off to (Roy) Harper" on their third album, and Pink Floyd, who invited him to lend his distinctive voice to "Have a Cigar" on their iconic Wish You Were Here (1975).

Harper’s discography spans over five decades, with over 20 studio albums, including masterpieces like Stormcock (1971) and HQ (1975). His music blends intricate guitar work with thought-provoking lyrics, often challenging social and political norms.
